Located between Selvester’s Café and Holt Hall, the bridge was dedicated in 1961 in memory of Gus Manolis, a Chico State football coach who died while searching for a boy scout lost in the mountains. In 2014, a falling tree knocked out a portion of the bridge. In November 2015, President Zingg and the Manolis family re-opened a newly constructed bridge.
